Furious Style Gym competes in Muay Thai Charity Shield II

If you recall the 1st Muay Thai Charity Shield fight (old post of Ryan Yong's bout & interview), you would be glad to know that recently a 2nd Charity Shield fight event was hosted just 2 days ago on January 15th at Gombak.

This time, Furious Style Kickboxing sent 3 Nak Muays to join this promotion.



The event got a bigger support & is the organised by the joint effort of:
Persatuan Tomoi Gombak,
Muay Thai Naga Api,
Persatuan Muay Thai Negeri Selangor
Pejabat Belia & Sukan Daerah Gombak.

The 3 Sabahan fighters representing the Land Below the Wind are:

Ronny Sham (previously a TKD coach)

Rudy Fairtex (from a boxing background)

Kyo Kaede (who fought in Malaysia Ultimate Fighter 2007, competed in Mayor's Cup Boxing 2009-2010)

There are a total of 19 fights & the Furious Style Gym opponents were:

Kyo Kaede (Furious Styles Kickboxing Sabah) VS Amir Ridzwan (Kirsty Fight Club)

Fight 11
Ronny Yilmaz Sham (Furious Styles Kickboxing Sabah) VS Azmanani Mohamed (SS Fighter Gym Sarawak)

Fight 15
Muhammad Riduwan (Sitkrumat Camp, Klang) VS Rudy (Furious Styles Kick Boxing Sabah)

We do not have all the videos of the fight except for the Kyo bout (which he won via DQ to his opponent due to illegal strike below the belt).



All and all the result as reported by Furious Style were a:

1 Win DQ by Kyo Kaede.
1 Draw by Rudy Furious Style.
1 Lost TKO by Ronny Sham.

We are both proud and happy for all 3 of our Sabahan fighters and hope they will continue to train for more fights to come. A shout out also to all the organisers for this good event and we hope more future Muay Thai fighters from Sabah would join.
