Borneo Combat Gym is on an all out war, the Labuan island based gym has recently sent out 5 boys to join the KPM National Wushu Championship in Ipoh, Perak.

On the 26th January, Sabahan MMA fighter AJ Pyro together with AllFit hosted a special MMA Seminar that feature 2 other MMA fighter: PXC fighter Mark Striegl & URCC Adam Cacay.

The seminar was a crazy affordable price at RM100 for AllFit members & RM130 for non-members but feature all 3 fighters sharing each of their own fighting style (AJ - Muaythai for MMA, Mark Striegl - Wrestling for MMA & Adam Cacay - Wushu for MMA)

Borneo fighters competing in F-3 Championship Fight!

Another exciting promotion call the "F-3 Championship" (AKA Freestyle Full-contact Fight Championship) will be hosted in Titiwangsa Stadium, Kuala Lumpur from February 25th - February 26th 2012.

A few Borneo fighters will be present to compete in this huge competition and the latest fighters list has been released.

Borneo Combat Gym has once again help produce 2 new International Standard judge & coach for East Malaysia, this time in the Kickboxing sport of Sanshou!

Mr. Alvin Chong, owner / coach of  Borneo Combat Gym & Mr. Roslan; a senior member from the same gym have been awarded the certificate of International Wushu Sanshou judge & coach!

Sabah Xingyiquan Workshop 2011,

There will be a Sabah Xingyiquan Workshop held at the Sabah Martial Art Training Center this coming September 16th to 18th.

Sanda Wushu fight videos @ SABAH FULL CONTACT CHALLENGE 2011

I got a private message from the organiser of the SABAH FULL CONTACT CHALLENGE (SFCC) after they saw yesterday's blog & they told me that there are more videos posted online if the readers are interested to see.

The videos below are some of the fights recorded that day. Mainly all have Sanda Wushu fighters (thus the takedown attack style). To me this is interesting as I have always heard about Sanda Kick Boxing but never knew that we had Sanda Wushu fighters around Sabah.
