A Saturday of Wing Chun & Shorinji Kempo

Last Saturday saw 2 martial arts demo & seminar around KK. There was the UMS Japanese Fair where the Shorinji Kempo UMS Team did their demo.

And there was a Wing Chun Seminar at the  CORE FITNESS CENTRE POINT branch.

 The Wing Chun seminar was conducted by Mr. Brandon Chan of the Malaysian International Ving Chun Kung Fu Federation (MIVCKFK). Mr. Brendon Wong brought 2 other assistant to the seminar and it was mostly an introduction to Wing Chun basic stance, drills and form.

The seminar ran on 2 time slots: 9am -12noon & 2pm -6pm. Hopefully there will be more Wing Chun seminars held here.

Meanwhile the Shorinjin Kempo demo at UMS was packed with many on lookers and there were showing off many throws & join locks to amaze the crowd.

It would seems the Shorinji Kempo clubs in KK are becoming more and more active in demonstrating and spreading their art. We hope to see more martial art demonstrations and events around KK!!! Cheers!
