FightBah found another interesting article about diet during Ramdan from Raja Ahmad Talmiz.
Raja Ahmad is a teacher of the Sitkrumat Muay Thai camp & he is also 1 of our mentor in Muay Thai from West Malaysia. He wrote a short blog post about Sitkrumat camp training diet for their members during Ramadan which I was given permission to share and help translate it in English in point form:
- In Sitkrumat camp, their training session burns about 1000 to 1400 calories.
- Sitkrumat camp members are always advise to drink 3 glasses of water a night before fasting starts.
- During Sahur, they are advised to eat high calcium & high nutritional food example: dates, fruits, vegetables & whole meal products.
- 2 glasses of hot Horlicks drink have been proven to last the whole day (Remember to also drink 1 glass of plain water after the 2 glasses of Horlicks).
- Rice is not advisable as it burns faster and makes you hungry by noon.
- If rice is a must for that member then he has to add either Horlicks drink or Nestum cereal to that same meal.
- Kurma (dates) with Apples or Banana as dessert after Sahur meal is advisable.
- Once breaking fast, before training. Sitkrumat members are advised to drink 2 glass of coconut water or a 100Plus to rehydrate the body.
We thank Sitkrumat for sharing us these very interesting information and we hope our Muslim readers who plan to train will benefit from this read. For those who prefer the article in Malay, please visit Raja Ahmad's Sitkrumat article here. You can also read another recommendation by Mr. AJ Vaa on his diet and training regime during the fasting month here.
I also benefit from learning the assessments, but learn that alot of people ought to stay on essay to try and add worth in the direction of the authentic weblog release. view
