On a more serious note:
The idea of giving a free trial classes or lesson on self defense to the community (especially women) against violence or rape is indeed a good idea. Of course Im not saying all martial art school and dojo should give free classes... that will kill the business... but even in terms of marketing, it can be considered a 1 off "trial class", maybe 1s a month such program could be conducted.
The concept of martial art schools giving back to the community is not something new of course, some Silat schools actually gives free Quran learning lessons, Muay Thai gyms do take in children in the slums to help train and educate them (in return of an assistant with the gym chorus) but ultimately its about giving back to the community something.
Obviously the main concern is always about cost in running the class, venue rental and fees for assistance / instructors. But maybe... maybe... we some time forgot to give
